Sierra Ambulatory Surgery Center (SASC) is a state-of-the-art surgery center located in the Sierra Nevada foothills that was built as a place of excellence to serve the residents of Nevada County. In fact the surgeons owners of Sierra Ambulatory Surgery Center have been caring for the residents of Nevada county for over 100 combined years.
Our surgical staff consists of 4 ophthalmologists that specialize in advanced surgical management of cataracts, refractive cataract surgery, cosmetic lid surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). The interventional pain management service manages chronic pain with fluoroscopically guided steroid injections including epidural, nerve blocks, trigger point and placement of spinal cord stimulators. Podiatric surgery of the foot and ankle including bunionectomy, hammertoe, arthrodesis and peripheral nerve stimulators. The anesthesia service has an impeccable level of safety and provides a comfortable and often enjoyable surgical experience.
We are supported by an energetic and caring clerical and medical support staff that receive daily praise from our appreciative patients.
